Schill is proud to announce that we have entered into an agreement with thyssenkrupp Estaleiro Brasil Sul Ltda. (tkEBS) to supply our state-of-the-art product, Aligner 308, along with providing advanced alignment services and calibration expertise. This collaboration aims to support thyssenkrupp in the development and delivery of Tamandaré class frigate systems of the MEKO type to the Brazilian Navy.
The Aligner 308, combined with Schill’s extensive expertise in alignment and calibration, will play a crucial role in ensuring high precision, sustainability, and efficiency in the operational capabilities of the Brazilian Navy. At Schill, we are committed to “optimising operational efficiency” and ensuring that we “make every shot count.” The Aligner 308 measures tilt, elevation, and azimuth on any weapon and sensor system while the ship is afloat. This process is completed in minutes rather than days or weeks, making it a true “force multiplier.”
“We look forward to this collaboration with thyssenkrupp and ultimately the Brazilian Navy. The Aligner 308 and Schill’s knowledge in alignment will ultimately contribute to a more accurate, sustainable, and efficient navy,” says John Forsell, CEO at Schill. “With our cutting-edge technology, we are ‘turning alignment magic into science’ and delivering unmatched precision and reliability.”
